Here’s a bucolic scene I shot in Happy Canyon in the Santa Ynez Valley. Watching the Santa Ynez Valley change over the years, it still has that magical charm. In recent years, this area has become a hot spot for vineyards and wineries, replacing what used to be cattle and horse ranches. It has become known around the world for the wonderful wines produced in this area. I love the dramatic effect of the barren oak trees in winter shown in black and white.
