Description
The Redwood Grove is just one of many environments at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, situated in the foothills above Santa Barbara. Escape downtown to experience this serene and beautiful garden where you’ll find a vast multitude of flora and plant environments. There are many other garden sections and displays to experience, including Campbell Trail and Bridge, the Desert Section, the Teahouse Garden and the Woodland Trail, just to name a few.
Not to be missed is the Mission Dam and Aqueduct, constructed in 1806-1807 by the Chumash Indians under the direction of the Franciscan padres to help supply the Santa Barbara Mission with a reliable source of water.
