Description
This unique card shows a rendering of the Twelve Days of Christmas in the style of Chumash Rock Art. Those who know the history of Santa Barbara will appreciate the sentiment.
The Santa Barbara area used to be occupied by the Chumash Indians. The cave paintings they created are local treasures. I received my inspiration for this card in part by the work of Campbell Grant, who received a museum grant to conduct a survey of the rock paintings, then went on to write a book about them and replicate their art in paintings. His book is entitled, “The Rock Paintings of the Chumash.”
These Santa Barbara Greeting Cards have a beautiful, glossy finish, measure 5×7 inches, and come with white envelopes.
