Another of Santa Barbara’s gems is the Santa Barbara County Courthouse. This photo shows the view from the side of the sunken gardens, where many events take place… from free concerts by the Santa Barbara Symphony and Jazz Series events to weddings to cinema nights under the stars.
Designed in the Spanish Colonial Revival style, construction started in 1926 during the period when this style was popular and took three years to complete. Wander around the halls and grounds of this centerpiece of Santa Barbara and see the beautiful tile, windows and architectural details. The Mural Room is not to be missed.
